Science & Art

Welcome to the outreach segment of my work where I share a passion for discovering innovative ways to communicate science to a wider audience.

  • In the first five cartoons I collaborated with Jill Pelto from Portland, Maine where we used art as a tool to explain our research and enhance awareness about climate change. These artworks, driven by scientific data from our studies, vividly depict our fieldwork activities and showcase the use of ancient and modern DNA data to understand how plants respond to climate change. Nature is fascinating and beautiful and these works of art are a testament to that.
  • The final two pieces feature poster designs crafted by Vincent Gisbes Cardona for two scientific studies centered around ancient human populations conducted by Gonzalo Oteo Garcia.
